Welcome to Prichard’s Dolls Hospital website, we hope you enjoy touring our site. One of our policies is to take good care of your doll once it arrives with us at PDH. We will not do anything to cause further damage to your doll, all our restoration work is reversible.
We used materials and procedures that are recommended by British museums and ICON (The Institute of Conservation).
   Q. What happens when my doll arrives at Prichard’s Dolls Hospital
   A. On your doll’s arrival we...
*  Compile a condition report about the damage your doll has suffered.
* We compile a worksheet of the treatment that would be best to conserve your doll     for your pleasure and for the future.
* We record before and after pictures of your doll, which will be given to you on     discharge from hospital.   
* The doll will be carefully wrapped in acid free paper and packed away until the     start date of the work.
* You will be notified by phone when your doll is ready to be discharged.
